With the closing of borders, the closing of campus doors and a switch to virtual, students are feeling anxious and uncertain about what their future holds. This is why AVI is partnering with Communiteer to provide meaningful volunteering opportunities for students, with corporate mentors to guide them through.

Ria Pillai is a third year Deakin University student studying a Bachelor of International Studies, majoring in Politics. Recently, she took part in a AVI virtual internship with Restless Development, India as a Project Coordinator – Social Inclusion. Here, she reflects on her experience.
